I set up Victoria Page Communications because I wanted to get the best out of me. I excel at collaborating, listening, getting ideas off the ground, sharing learnings and motivating others.
My outlook changed completely when the first of my two children arrived around four years ago. Since then, I have been inspired, and the creation of Victoria Page Communications is the output.
one
Never give up – a child’s determination can sometimes feel inexhaustible! But having the strength to keep going is what keeps us from failure.
two
Be honest – Children have a wonderful ability to say it like it is. Having the courage to be honest and say what you really think helps build stronger relationships and deliver better work.
three
Mistakes help us learn – We learn more quickly from making mistakes.
four
Use a different approach – Toddlers change day by day, using different strategies, techniques and approaches to do the same task.
five
Do what you love – Children do what fulfils them in that instant. They aren’t scared to try new things, or walk into a room of people they don’t know. They live for the moment and do what feels good. As an adult, we often are too blinded by risk to seek adventure – sometimes its good to be brave.
